Happy October & spooky season!

We recently carved pumpkins and decorated some spooky Tee’s with fake blood!

Of course I forgot to buy the fake blood so we decide to make it!
I looked up several different ways to make it & ended up modifying them to come up with this recipe.

Items needed:
- Karo Syrup
- Coco Powder
- Baby Powder or Corn Starch
- Red & Blue food coloring (I used gel because that’s all I had:)

Combine 8 tablespoons of karo syrup, 1 tablespoon coco powder, 1/4 tablespoon baby powder / corn starch, 1 1/4 tablespoons of red gel food coloring, 3 drops blue food coloring.

Mix everything together until smooth and then use to create spooky effects.
We added “blood” drizzles and handprints to some old tee shirts. I haven’t attempted to wash these items yet, but I wouldn’t recommend using your nice clothes because I bet it will stain!!

Check out our spooky video below of mixing up the blood and see the fam!
